Frequently Asked Questions

  • For in-person sessions the office is at 2401 S. Downing St. Denver CO 80210. There is dedicated free parking available on the South side of the building, where the main entrance is, as well as abundant street parking options. Please wait in the lobby upon arrival.
  • For online/virtual sessions we will meet via a HIPAA compliant Zoom meeting or the client portal depending on preference and internet connection needs.
  • Intensive therapy allows individuals to make significant progress in a shorter period compared to weekly therapy sessions. This can be especially beneficial for those experiencing acute distress or needing timely resolution of trauma symptoms.
  • Time commitment is also a practical barrier to many forms of therapy. With weekly therapy you often need to make schedule adjustments around work or school. Intensives allow for creative scheduling and condensing months of frequent absences into once shorter period of time missed.

Intensives are priced to reflect the training and expertise needed to manage trauma treatment in this condensed format. Overall intensives can be a much more cost effective solution depending on clinical needs and healthcare plan benefits. If you consider the typical treatment of 12. sessions needed for single incident trauma (i.e. one car accident) intensives are more cost effective:

  • 12 sessions x $155 per hour weekly rate=$1860 total
  • 6 hour* (full day) x $200 hour intensive rate=$1200 total *Please note clinical hour reduction as in intensive formats, therapy sessions are concentrated over a few consecutive days or weeks, allowing for focused and uninterrupted work on trauma-related issues. This concentrated approach reduces the time spent recapping previous sessions or re-establishing rapport, maximizing the time dedicated to therapeutic interventions and processing.
